Harmonic or aural exciters affect odd and even harmonics. While an EQ boosts already existing frequencies, a harmonic exciter actually adds content to the signal by producing harmonic distortion. That can be very useful to give more brightness to a somewhat lifeless mix, for example.
“Blanka is an exciter for clarity, adding presence without losing the weight of the tracks. Combined with Fatudo, these 2 tools add up to a perfect set for drums, Fatudo for kickdrums and bass instruments and Blanka for higher frequency ranges.
75HZ / 105HZ – Hi-pass of pre-defined frequencies. 75Hz and 105Hz.
WEITGHT – Control of excitation of harmonics at low frequencies (T is purposeful).
CLARITY – Control of excitation of harmonics at high frequencies.
PUNCH – Sum of the ‘excited’ signal to the original and modified signal when passing through a sidechain in the middle of the circuit.
All AudioFB Plug-ins are available for Mac OS and Windows.”

LF Max Punch plugin dynamically emphasizes selected bass frequency band, applies a smooth saturation over it, and produces additional sub-harmonic content, with the ability to blend it with the original bass band sound. Optional compression can then be applied to the resulting low-frequency sound. LF Max Punch first splits the broad-band signal into low- and high-frequency bands and then applies the aforementioned effects to the lower band only.
This effect can be applied over a wide range of sound material: drum tracks, bass tracks, contemporary music mixes: rap, trance, club music; also rock music can benefit from LF Max Punch's low-frequency enhancements.
